ARTIVISM EXHIBITION<\/strong> is the digital event result of a call to action we launched in December 2020 together with Cittadellarte Fondazione Pistoletto, to inspire artists and creatives to give voice and shape, through art, to social activism and environmental justice.
The selection took place among more than 90 artists who responded to the initiative with original works. A technical commission composed of Paolo Naldini <\/strong>(CEO & director Cittadellarte – Fondazione Pistoletto), Olga Pirazzi<\/strong> (project manager Fashion BEST – Fondazione Pistoletto), Juan Estefan Sandoval <\/strong>(director of the Art Office – Fondazione Pistoletto) and Marina Spadafora<\/strong> (country coordinator – Fashion Revolution Italia ) who evalueted all the competing projects for the semantic coherence, originality, technical quality, the ability to inspire social activism, the aesthetic result for digital usability and the value manifested as a solution for the fashion system. Forty selected works are available to the public in the Ikonospace digital space in a show curated by Stella Stone<\/strong>.
In addition, the top 10 finalists, announced on the opening day during a digital vernissage on Zoom and live on the Facebook page of Fashion Revolution Italia<\/strong>, got to participate to an in-house residence in Cittadellarte in Biella sponsored by the Pistoletto Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
